Silver eternity or infinity symbol ring, handmade wire wrapped with non tarnish silver wire, custom made in your size!

Appropriately, the possible meanings of the infinity symbol are limitless! In jewelry it is most often used to represent eternal love. For the independent or newly single it can represent the endless possibilities offered by a new beginning. And for some it represents the limitless outcomes contained within any given moment. The butterfly effect that causes so many changes and turn of events that we will never even know about.

Each ring is made to order! I shape each infinity symbol by hand using 20 gauge non tarnish silver wire, and the shank of the ring consists of the two strands of wire used to create the infinity symbol, which is then wrapped, or coiled, carefully by hand with 24 gauge non tarnish silver wire.

Why non-tarnish silver?
The price of silver has risen dramatically over the last year or so, and fluctuates often. In order to keep my pieces consistent and affordable for everyone, non-tarnish silver is a great alternative! It is quite different from regular silver plated wire! This wire (as indicated by its name) will not tarnish, so no polishing will ever be required. Because the silver is coated with a layer of clear enamel, it is also an excellent choice for people with metal sensitivities! I have these issues myself, and for years could not wear earrings because even sterling silver and gold would cause a reaction. I was really happy to find this wire, because no metal actually comes in contact with the skin, so I can finally wear earrings again, and rings and bracelets don't turn my skin all kinds of funky colors :)
