"Black Rose, Red Twilight" is inspired by romantic nights.

Unlike most Victorian Ribbon Roses, this one is made out of hand-dyed silk (Charmeuse, a satiny fabric that is deliciously soft). I marbled the silk and edged it with Indian Ink, giving it a truly elegant look.

Victorian Ribbon Folding meets tsumami kanzashi as I mix two flower making art forms. I was inspired to make this after making the 4th image (not included in this listing) for a custom order.

I think this piece is easy to wear in either a simple updo or a grand updo.
