Pixie Sticks are a wonderful play spindle (wand) for your little loved ones. The pictures above show one in my 3 yr olds hands to give you an idea of how they fit a child.

The crystals are quite sparkly and will cast tiny twinkles on a wall when in the sunshine. They work well as wands and are about as safe as can be expected from a stick like play toy. The finish I use on the wood is completely natural, simple and safe (comes from a nut, not a bottle...its not raw and is very unlikely to cause an allergic reaction). I will happily leave the wood raw if you prefer.

The spindle is about 7" long and 3/4" at the widest. The shaft is Birch and I offer the Austrian Crystal in the end in many colors, so if you have a preference you may request a color. You may also request them shorter with an even more blunt tip if you like.

These are play spindles and are NOT designed for adult spinning, but rather as a companion child spindle to go with Twindles and Glindles and Russians, etc...
They will spin fiber.
