The scene on Santa's inside robe includes a log cabin, a church on the hill, birch and evergreen trees while featuring a colorful Northern Lights. Hand-painted and varnished - carved with hand tools (knives & gouges, no power tools). Approximately 175+ hours to complete. Signed by the artist
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
As a Santa carver and lover of the Christmas season, I have wanted to include the wonder of the Northern Lights in one of my carvings since I experienced the wonder of the Lights while visiting Fairbanks, Alaska in 1993.
