Off white vintage silk pullover blouse. No tags, but most likely a size X-small to small/petite.

*No tags, but probably this is circa mid to late 1970's or 1980's.

*Sheer, "stretchable" lightweight silk crepe de chine fabric that has a bias cut behavior.

*"Almost white" - very light ivory / off white color.

*Due to the transparent characteristic of the fabric, must be worn with an undergarment. Would look pretty with a lacy, romantic camisole.

*Empire style with pin tucks and lace embellishments.

*Tie closure neckline - can be worn tied or open for a more casual look.

*Princess seams in front - back is one piece.

*Enclosed French seams inside.

*Vented cuffs on sleeves with threaded tacking.

*Side seam vents.

*Narrow rolled hem - finished for wearing on the outside of pants or skirts.

*No inside tags.

Measurements - slightly variable due to stretchy nature of the fabric:

Bust - (measured at empire seam) ~30" - 32" (~76-81cm)
Waist - ~28" - 30" (~71-76cm)
Hips - ~32"" (~81cm)
Shoulder width (from neckline to shoulder seam) ~13 1/2" (~34cm)
Back neckline to hem - ~20" (~55.cm)
Sleeve length (from seam to cuff) - ~23" (~58.5cm)

Care:

Normally, silk crepe de chine can be safely HAND laundered in a gentle soap, such as Ivory Snow, etc., and since this is not a colored garment, it might be OK to clean it this way if you are experienced in hand washing silk. If in doubt, and to be on the safe side, machine or home dry cleaning would be recommended. Press with an iron setting of "silk".

In very good condition - no tears, snags, discoloration, dirt, or odors. The only noteworthy stain is a very faint light blue stain on the right cuff seam.

*Canada and international - for shipping savings, quotes are for USPS 1st class mail. In some cases, packages can be sent more quickly by USPS Priority mail, but rates will be higher. If you prefer a different shipping method, please let me know your preference upon checkout, and I'll send you a quote and work out the mailing details. I promptly mail within 24 hours, and sometimes the same day, so unless otherwise requested, your package will be sent quickly and via the method quoted.

*International destinations - quote here is for Priority insured mail, based on Australia delivery, and is estimated. UK and EU destinations will most likely be less, and I'll refund any difference.

**Please note that the Post Office cannot insure international 1st class packages, so keep this in mind when choosing your shipping method.
