*Vintage cardigan, set-in sleeve Lambswool knit sweater that most likely dates to the 1950-1960's era.

*Body is lined with light / white colored satin.

*Hand beaded on the outside with white seed beads and pearls in floral, leaf, and festoon shapes. Beading is around the entire neckline, (front and back), down both sides of the front, and scattered along the bodice front.

*9 round pearl closures on the front.

Tag states:
"The Island Sweater Shop. Nassau Bahamas. 20% Angora 10% Nylon 70% Lambswool".

Measurements:

*Bust 38" (96.5cm)
*Waist ~29" (73.5cm)
*Shoulders (measured across back to where shoulder seam meets sleeve seam) -13 3/4" ( 34.8cm)
*Neckline to shoulder seam - 6" (~15cm)
*Shoulder seam to sleeve cuff - 21" (5cm")
*Back neckline to hem - 22" (~56cm)

Overall the sweater is in very good to excellent vintage/antique condition with the following noteworthy flaws:

*A single 5 X 12mm tan colored stain near the right sleeve seam, towards the cuff. (See photos).

*There are a few light 5 x 8 mm light amber stains on the back with 3 nearby 1 mm specks. (See photos).

*The lining, is, overall, clean and new looking,with no tears, visible stains, etc.

I can't find any missing beads moth holes, etc., and because this is stored in cedar, there may be a faint cedar odor.

There no pilling of the wool on the outside.

*Canada and international - for shipping savings, quotes are for USPS 1st class mail. In some cases, packages can be sent more quickly by USPS Priority mail, but rates will be higher. I promptly mail within 24 hours, and sometimes the same day, so unless otherwise requested, your package will be sent quickly and via the method quoted.

*International destinations - quote here is for Priority insured mail, based on Australia delivery, and is estimated. UK and EU destinations will most likely be less, and I'll refund any difference.
