Argentium silver has a higher silver content than traditional silver, and is more resistant to tarnish. It is also a brighter color, and a higher shine. I have found it to be worth the expense and am currently phasing it in for my main metal when I weave. If it needs cleaning it can be wiped with a soft cloth to restore the original sparkling white color. Argentium Sterling Silver is brighter then platinum, white gold and traditional sterling.
