This colorful red junglefowl rooster is painted in watercolor while on a trip to the local Milwaukee County Zoo. It was sketched in pencil and then layers of watercolor was applied to fill this piece with color and character. The background is a beautiful farm grass green.

This is an original, one of a kind, work of art, done in watercolor.
It is unmatted and unframed.

It is signed on the lower left bottom and also is signed and dated on the white border around the painting. This paper border helps when framing to catch the watercolor under a mat.
