Raw and tribal, this design centers around the primitive brass pendant from Ghana. I chose snake vertibrae cut coral colored trade beads, also from Africa to show off the brass. The accents and lobster clasp are brass plated base metal. Ochre colored trade beads in between the elongated brass beads. Total length of the necklace is 21 inches, plus 3 inches of pendant.

The brass symbol is called Akeban (war horn) from Ghana, and stands for vigilance and wariness.
