This very special Christian guitar strap is hand embroidered with the Greek letters, Alpha and Omega, on rich royal purple Dupioni silk. The Alpha and Omega symbols are entwined through each other and have stylized scrolled tips on each of the symbols. The embroidery thread is metallic white interwoven with translucent pearlized threads, giving the embroidered symbols a subtle shimmering quality. The symbols are outlined in dark purple satin embroidery thread, adding depth and dimension to the image. The back lining of the guitar strap is iridescent white Dupioni silk that accents the white embroidery on the front of the guitar strap, and the leather tabs are dark gray premium quality suede leather.

The adoption of the Alpha and Omega symbols as Christian symbols is based on the Book of Revelation of Saint John the Divine, the last book of the Bible, Chapter 1, Verse 8, in which Christ says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord...". The symbolism of the statement is based on the fact that alpha and omega are, respectively, the first and last letters of the classic Greek alphabet. They are used to convey the concept that Christ has always existed and will always exist, eternally, before, throughout, and after time.

My guitar straps are amazingly comfortable. The 3 inch width allows for weight distribution over 50% more area than conventional guitar straps and even solid body bass players have commented on how comfortable my guitar straps are. Further, because there are 3 bottom layers of fabric between your shoulder and the polypropylene foundation, there is a soft cushion to help further distribute the weight of your guitar without holding the body heat that standard lamb's wool shoulder pads retain, so your strap is soft, cool, and comfortable. No more aching neck or shoulder and no more pressure points.

I am a linear thinker and, frankly, struggle with the concept represented by the alpha and omega symbol, not because I don't understand it but because it is difficult for me to comprehend an eternity that predates time and an eternity that continues after time is extinguished. These deceptively simple symbols encompass a profoundly powerful and, for me, almost incomprehensible truth. I hope I have rendered this guitar strap with the respect and reverence due the subject. CONSTRUCTION - The guitar strap foundation is 3 inch wide (7.62 centimeters) and 6 foot long (1.83 meters) 2000-pound test commercial grade polypropylene strap material. The strap adjusts from a maximum length of 6 feet (1.83 meters) to a minimum length of 39 inches (.99 meters).

LEATHER TABS - The leather tabs are comprised of a 3 inch by 8 inch section of top quality leather, folded over a commercial grade plastic anchor bar and trimmed to shape. The two sides of the leather are then glued with commercial strength tanner glue and double whip stitched with heavy waxed leather sewing thread designed specifically for stitching leather. The button hole is hand punched and cut to precisely fit a standard 12mm guitar pin.
