This is an absolutely stunning hand embroidered guitar strap. The guitar strap is comprised of peach colored burlap which has been hand embroidered with a branch of autumn leaves rendered in brown satin ribbon and colorful variegated hand dyed French silk embroidery thread. The colors of the leaves include orange, rust, brown, peach, teal, blue, purple, violet, light green, dark green, and turquoise. The back lining of the guitar strap is emerald green satin and the leather tabs are top quality black premium suede leather.

The silk thread used to embroider this guitar strap shimmers in a way that only silk can. The reason silk thread has this characteristic luster is that silk fiber produced by the mulberry silk worm has a triangular prismatic shape. This prism shape allows the silk fiber to refract light at different angles so that the colors appear to shift and change. The contrast of the quieter peach burlap background behind the threads accentuates the sharpness and shine of the thread colors. This is just a really beautiful one of a kind guitar strap that I am proud to offer you.

My guitar straps are amazingly comfortable. The 3 inch width allows for weight distribution over 50% more area than conventional guitar straps and even solid body bass players have commented on how comfortable my guitar straps are. Further, because there are 3 bottom layers of fabric between your shoulder and the polypropylene foundation, there is a soft cushion to help further distribute the weight of your guitar without holding the body heat that standard lamb's wool shoulder pads retain, so your strap is soft, cool, and comfortable. No more aching neck or shoulder and no more pressure points.

While I love high contrast colors, I also love high contrast fabrics. I could not imagine a more disparate combination than the rough authenticity of burlap combined with the refined elegance of French silk. CONSTRUCTION - The guitar strap foundation is 3 inch wide (7.62 centimeters) and 6 foot long (1.83 meters) 2000-pound test commercial grade polypropylene strap material. The strap adjusts from a maximum length of 6 feet (1.83 meters) to a minimum length of 39 inches (.99 meters).

STITCHING - All the stitching on this guitar strap is done by hand. Whip stitching runs the full length of the strap on both sides, anchoring the top and bottom fabrics to the polypropylene strap material foundation.

LEATHER TABS - The leather tabs are comprised of a 3 inch by 8 inch section of top quality leather, folded over a commercial grade plastic anchor bar and trimmed to shape. The two sides of the leather are then glued with commercial strength tanner glue and double whip stitched with heavy waxed leather sewing thread designed specifically for stitching leather. The button hole is hand punched and cut to precisely fit a standard 12mm guitar pin.
