This beautiful custom guitar strap, with its light and dark chocolate brown striped edges and its elegant tweed style weave of cream with hints of turquoise and soft yellow, is the epitome of high fashion for the well dressed guitar.

The top fabric is hand woven by well known Tampa Bay area textile artisan Teri Hasbrouck and is made of 100% 2-strand natural bamboo yarn with chocolate brown framing the tan stripe and an inset of variegated yarn with light turquoise and a touch of butter cream yellow. The weaving structure is plain weave with the colors of the inset shown off in a basket weave pattern down the center of the guitar strap. The back lining of the guitar strap is rich, thick, caramel brown Duchess satin and the leather tabs are premium quality black suede leather. Bamboo fiber yarn is a renewable resource grown without pesticides or fertilizers. Bamboo planting can slow deforestation by providing a cellulose fiber for textiles such as Teri's. Its smooth, beautiful, soft but sturdy texture provides a sumptuous, rich feel and look to this guitar strap.

My guitar straps are amazingly comfortable. The 3 inch width allows for weight distribution over 50% more area than conventional guitar straps and even solid body bass players have commented on how comfortable my guitar straps are. Further, because there are 3 bottom layers of fabric between your shoulder and the polypropylene foundation, there is a soft cushion to help further distribute the weight of your guitar without holding the body heat that standard lamb's wool shoulder pads retain, so your strap is soft, cool, and comfortable. No more aching neck or shoulder and no more pressure points.

Since I started commissioning woven pieces from Teri, I am just enchanted with her work. It is so elegant, so understated, and yet utterly unignorable and not like anything you will ever see on another guitar strap, truly one of a kind. CONSTRUCTION - The guitar strap foundation is 3 inch wide (7.62 centimeters) and 6 foot long (1.83 meters) 2000-pound test commercial grade polypropylene strap material. The strap adjusts from a maximum length of 6 feet (1.83 meters) to a minimum length of 39 inches (.99 meters).

LEATHER TABS - The leather tabs are comprised of a 3 inch by 8 inch section of top quality leather, folded over a commercial grade plastic anchor bar and trimmed to shape. The two sides of the leather are then glued with commercial strength tanner glue and double whip stitched with heavy waxed leather sewing thread designed specifically for stitching leather. The button hole is hand punched and cut to precisely fit a standard 12mm guitar pin.
