Like a cool, shaded garden, this custom handmade guitar strap is covered in a beautiful green marbled organza over rich, grass green Duchess satin. The marbling colors variegate from a soft pastel green to a deep hunter green with splashes of many shades of green in between. Running the full length of the guitar strap are three fine rows of sparkling metallic green thread, cut and knotted and lying very close to the surface of the guitar strap, like fine morning dew. The back lining of the guitar strap is the same green Duchess satin as the satin that underlines the top layer of organza and the leather tabs are premium grade black suede leather. This guitar strap has a cool, airy somewhat ephemeral look and feel to it but just enough sparkle to really make it visually engaging. It is just a beautiful guitar strap. I have included a picture of a cool green garden so you can see how this fabric reflects a similar visual experience.

My guitar straps are amazingly comfortable. The 3 inch width allows for weight distribution over 50% more area than conventional guitar straps and even solid body bass players have commented on how comfortable my guitar straps are. Further, because there are 3 bottom layers of fabric between your shoulder and the polypropylene foundation, there is a soft cushion to help further distribute the weight of your guitar without holding the body heat that standard lamb's wool shoulder pads retain, so your strap is soft, cool, and comfortable. No more aching neck or shoulder and no more pressure points.

I tend toward visually dazzling fabrics, sharp contrasts, unusual textures, but while the marbled green organza is filled with sharp contrasts and is definitely an unusual texture, is far more subtle, varied in its colors without the clash and bang of intense contrast. The green metallic threads add just a bit of magic to it. I really hope you like it.

CONSTRUCTION - The guitar strap foundation is 3 inch wide (7.62 centimeters) and 6 foot long (1.83 meters) 2000-pound test commercial grade polypropylene strap material. The strap adjusts from a maximum length of 6 feet (1.83 meters) to a minimum length of 39 inches (.99 meters).

LEATHER TABS - The leather tabs are comprised of a 3 inch by 8 inch section of top quality leather, folded over a commercial grade plastic anchor bar and trimmed to shape. The two sides of the leather are then glued with commercial strength tanner glue and double whip stitched with heavy waxed leather sewing thread designed specifically for stitching leather. The button hole is hand punched and cut to precisely fit a standard 12mm guitar pin.
