Product Description
The beauty of the Native American Southwest comes to life on this Native American style custom handmade guitar strap. The guitar strap is comprised of a remarkably detailed Native American beading pattern print cotton. The beading pattern representation is a classic diamond image surrounded by arrow tip X's, and triangles with alternating bead line stripes punctuated with smaller geometric images typical of Native American bead patterns. The colors include dark and light red, dark and light gray, dark and light brown, black, and white. The back lining of the guitar strap is shimmering, thick, brown Duchess satin and the leather tabs are brown suede leather. This is an absolutely beautiful guitar strap that you will be proud to wear.

There is something unmistakable about Native American beading, especially the patterns of Southwest Native American tribes. Folk art reflects the environment in which it is created and the vast expanses of desert, the sharp edges of rising plateaus, the ridges and gullies of arroyos, all combined with the many colors of the strata and substrata of the chiseled earth, give Southwest Native American artwork its distinct style. That style has been accurately and respectfully replicated in this guitar strap.

My guitar straps are amazingly comfortable. The 3 inch width allows for weight distribution over 50% more area than conventional guitar straps and even solid body bass players have commented on how comfortable my guitar straps are. Further, because there are 3 bottom layers of fabric between your shoulder and the polypropylene foundation, there is a soft cushion to help further distribute the weight of your guitar without holding the body heat that standard lambs wool shoulder pads retain, so your strap is soft, cool, and comfortable. No more aching neck or shoulder and no more pressure points.
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
There are few things more gratifying to me than finding a beautiful fabric that presents unusual imagery. While I could create this beaded guitar strap by hand, it would be very expensive and put it out of reach of many of my patrons. To have found this fabric and make an affordable yet unique guitar strap with it was just enormously satisfying to me.

Please note: I am not a Native American and this guitar strap is not a Native American artifact.
