This is one of the most impressive and beautiful guitar straps you will ever put on your shoulder. The top fabric of the guitar strap is richly intricate classic Southwest Native American style geometric patterns of triangles, arrow heads, diamonds, fletchings, and alternating parallel lines in lush sunset colors of light and dark orange, brick red, black, and light and dark brown rendered on thick cotton. The off-center focal image is an 8-pointed sunburst pattern that is visually sharp and complex. The back lining of the guitar strap is pumpkin orange Duchess satin that perfectly matches the light orange in the fabric, and the leather tabs are dark brown suede leather.

The beauty of Native American imagery is that it is a narrative of that world, that experience, captured and immortalized in a unique motif. The Southwest Native American experience is one of sun, earth, and sky, flat topped mesas and deep arroyos, vast expanses of desert plain, and the unremitting blaze of the sun. This fabric captures that feeling with remarkable authenticity and power.

My guitar straps are amazingly comfortable. The 3 inch width allows for weight distribution over 50% more area than conventional guitar straps and even solid body bass players have commented on how comfortable my guitar straps are. Further, because there are 3 bottom layers of fabric between your shoulder and the polypropylene foundation, there is a soft cushion to help further distribute the weight of your guitar without holding the body heat that standard lambs wool shoulder pads retain, so your strap is soft, cool, and comfortable. No more aching neck or shoulder and no more pressure points.

When I found this fabric, I was really taken by the blasting intensity of its colors and the tight geometry of its images. I am really proud of this guitar strap and hope you like it.

CONSTRUCTION - The guitar strap foundation is 3 inch wide (7.62 centimeters) and 6 foot long (1.83 meters) 2000-pound test commercial grade polypropylene strap material. The strap adjusts from a maximum length of 6 feet (1.83 meters) to a minimum length of 39 inches (.99 meters).

LEATHER TABS - The leather tabs are comprised of a 3 inch by 8 inch section of top quality leather, folded over a commercial grade plastic anchor bar and trimmed to shape. The two sides of the leather are then glued with commercial strength tanner glue and double whip stitched with heavy waxed leather sewing thread designed specifically for stitching leather. The button hole is hand punched and cut to precisely fit a standard 12mm guitar pin.
