Place in microwave and heat for 1 to 2 minutes, depending on how hot you like it and size of bag large size 3 minutes max. Do not leave unattended. For moist heat, spritz the bag lightly with water before placing in microwave. These microwaveable heating pads are glorious to use for aches and pains, or just to pamper your-self after a long, hard day-but be careful when removing from the microwave and applying to the body. Shake bag first, feel around and make sure its not too hot and wont burn, especially when using on a child.
Also put it in a plastic bag in the freezer for an hour remove it from bag and you have an Ice pack.
