Handmade Polymer Clay Silver Squirrel Oak Leaf and Acorn OOAK Necklace

Product Description

This cute one of a kind nature inspired necklace measures 24 inches long. The focal bead is an adorable squirrel sculpted from silver polymer clay with a white chest and a black glass bead for an eye. Imitation pearls were added to his shoulder and leg and secured with wire and liquid polymer clay. He measures 2 inches tall and is flanked by polymer clay acorns with vintage jewelry caps accented with imitation pearls. The Oak leaves are also sculpted from polymer clay and were rubbed with red and gold Pearl Ex powder before baking. I used glass and acrylic beads in shades of orange, green, brown, and amber to finish off the necklace, which is strung on green beading cord and has a silver plated lobster clasp. This is a unique necklace, perfect for those who love nature and it's furry critters! ;)

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

The squirrel, acorns, and Oak leaves were inspired by projects from Christi Friesen. I love nature, and thought this necklace was a nice way to share that love.
