This cute teddy bear pen would make a wonderful Christmas gift! I wrapped a pen barrel in a red and white candy cane striped polymer clay sheet, then sculpted the 3 inch tall brown teddy bear around the top of the pen. To be sure he was thoroughly attached I used liquid polymer clay between his body and the pen barrel. The teddy bear wears a red winter scarf and a red Santa hat with white trim. I used high gloss glaze on his black eyes and nose for a lifelike shine. From the tip of the pen to the top of the bear's hat this piece measures 7 inches tall. The pen is lightweight and easy to use, and has a replaceable ink cartridge for years of use. This pen is cute enough to make you smile even when writing out bills! ;-)

This pen was certainly inspired by Christmas! I managed to mix candy canes, teddy bears, and Santa hats together to make an adorable (and useful) gift for Christmas ;-)
