This pretty heart shaped pendant was sculpted from pink Premo polymer clay and stamped with cat paw prints. Before baking I rubbed blue Pearl Ex powder over the raised surfaces for a metallic look. I sandwiched a jump ring between two layers of clay and added a bit of liquid polymer clay to help form a strong bond and ensure that the jump ring can't be pulled out. After baking I coated the entire pendant with two layers of high gloss varnish, which protects the pendant and adds durability. This pendant measures two inches tall and two inches wide and would be perfect for a Valentines necklace. It's the perfect pendant for those who have paw prints on their heart ;-)

This pendant was inspired by the furry critters who have left their paw prints on my heart. Many critters have left their mark on me and will never be forgotten- most recently Ozzy and Cedric. They were my cats who passed away within two years of each other and they'll never be forgotten. Now I've got two new cats- Calcifer and Ginko- leaving fresh paw prints on my heart (and all over the house- LOL!).
