I use 2 strands of strong, durable yarn for the base (shown here in brown or please let me know which colors you'd like for the base of the throw I design specifically for you).

Then I add one foot of thick, beautiful fringe on each end. The fringe shown includes 17 browns and blacks in each tassel so it's perfect for boys and girls.

There's quite a bit of stretch in the throw to play with during photo shoots. If this blanket is not stretched at all, then it's 2 feet wide and 3.5 feet with the fringe. It stretches to 4 feet or more wide.
