These Peacock Green Enamelled Copper Earrings are made with many layers of enamel fired onto rectangles of pure 100% copper. I've used several different toning colours of enamel - which is finely ground glass - in shades of green, blue and pale lavender, which, when fired in my kiln, create a beautiful gradation from palest lavender blue to rich peacock green.

Each layer is applied and fired individually, to create and build up the depth of colour, and the reverse sides are fully counter-enamelled for strength and durability.I've finished them with classic shepherd's hook earwires in copper.

The enamelled rectangles measure 1.5 inches (3.75cm) in length and 0.5 inches (1.25cm) across, and the earrings themselves are 2.3 inches (5.5cm) in length from the tip of the earwires.
