love spinning yarn, but carrying around a spinning wheel isn't always practical when in the run. These drop spindles are for more advanced Spindlers. The lace spindle is light weight (approx 1 oz), has a top whorl, and a hand-bent stainless steel hook. Each spindle is made of bamboo wood, a renewable resource that I love.

This particular spindle boasts my gear whorl design with a tapered shaft. The whorl and shaft are a medium colored wood tone. It measures 10 inches / 25.5 cm from the tip of the hook to the end. the hook is about 5/8 of an inch long, but will vary from spindle to spindle because they are handmade.
