Everyone knows copper naturally patinas (darkens) over time and I think when this go through that process, they will become even more beautiful! Of course if you like your copper to be shiny, you can always polish it back when it does patina. Thes teardrop shaped metal elements are really neat with the two little kissing birds sitting atop a heart. I've used both faceted black and dark irridized crystal beads in two sizes (4 total on each earring) to add the necessary sparkle and charm to this pair. The dangle 2 3/4" from botoom of the ear wires.
