This bead began with a variety of blues, working those blues into each other to create a dimensional background. When I work the glass in this manner I am reminded of batik fabrics. This lentil shaped focal bead is a multi-layer unique lampwork bead. The the tree of life to stands tall and strong, drawn on using a thin black string of glass.

The edges of this bead are "ruffled". My unique artistic design of dragging each individual tree branch out creates this textured edge.

34mm (1 and 3/8") across face of bead.
