This Victorian style jacket is a great fit for steampunk aristocrats or any goth lady who loves to dress elegantly. It is very fitted, with a high collar and 22 buttons up the front. Unless otherwise asked I will use pre-made buttons. If you would like your buttons hand covered in a matching fabric, please see the listing in my shop for fabric covered buttons (they are very time intensive)
You are welcome to choose any color or fabric combination you desire with this listing. Further customizations are also welcome, just send me a message in advance of your purchase to discuss any changes you would like to make.
The item in the photos is NOT the exact item you will recieve - it is merely a sample of the same pattern I will use to make your jacket. (It is missing a few buttons in the photo because self covered buttons are hard to un-do after a few vodka crans)
Ideally this garment is meant to be worn with a corset and pillow bustle underneath as the proportions are exaggerated. You could pair it with dress pants or a pencil skirt but a corset is a must in order for the bust and waist to fit correctly.
The fabrics that appear in the sample are purple satin, black princess satin, black faux suede, and black PVC. Consider it in all white for a pretty and modest bridal jacket, in patterned brocade, or even all PVC for an edgy piece of fetish wear. I can alter the neck line, add a pocket or some cute ruffles - anything you need. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination!
This jacket is 100% handmade in Canada from Burda pattern 7880. Please note that some specialty notions or fabrics require extra lead time as they are not kept on hand and must be ordered in before I can start working (PVC for example). For regular orders, I can have one of these finished and in the mail within two weeks.

30 3/4 waist
40 1/4 hip

The maximum size of this pattern in inches is
50 bust
43 waist
52 hip

If you fall within this range, that makes things easy! If not, send me a message and I will see what I can do to modify the pattern - this is most easily done by adding or removing fabric across the back and neck.

Please measure your body wearing the corset you plan to wear with this garment for best fit.
