How about some handmade Victorian style bloomers to go under your costume or gown? Perfect for the Steampunk, Victorian, Renaissance or Goth clothing lover to help keep you comfortable when walking around in your long skirts!

This pair of bloomers is made of cotton/poly broadcloth, with hand gathered ruffles at the bottom of the legs, which are embellished with black lace, and coordinating ribbon. They close at the front with a hook and eye. The fly area is open, in keeping with the style of the time. The waist is interfaced for added durability.

These historical civil-war era bloomers can be made in a wide range of colors listed in the last three photos of this ad. This represents the stock list from my local fabric store, so all colors might not be available at all times, and they can vary slightly by dye-lot. Color varies by monitor settings as well. Please leave a note indicating your first two color choices in order of preference when making your purchase and I will do my best to get your number one choice.

I will require your waist measurement at the narrowest part, and hip measurement at the broadest part in order to get started.

Standard pattern fits 23-39 inch waists. If you fall outside this range send me a message and I will try to accommodate you by modifying the pattern. Additional charges may apply in that case.

Each pair of my bloomers is hand made to order just for you! Please allow up to two weeks for the work to be completed before they are sent out in the mail.

I have been interested in steampunk costuming for several years and only just got around to making some comfy bloomers for myself. I decided to list a sample here so everyone can have the opportunity to get a pair custom made in assorted colors. In the coming months I`ll be working away at making more samples of historical style underpinnings that aren`t yet widely available online.
