Vintage Chinese hand carved genuine bone Buddha beads , Vintage A grade semiprecious brecciated jasper beads

The Smiling Buddha is associated in many Asian cultures with positive characteristics such as happiness, prosperity, luck, wealth and contentment. The Buddha is smiling because of being fully enlightened. He has permanently overcome anger, greed, and ignorance, and has achieved complete liberation from suffering, better known as Nirvana.

In Chinese culture, the color red is associated also with happiness as well as good luck.
These two unique Asian vintage beads compliment each other and the cinnabar red tones in the brecciated jasper beads represent happiness.

These hand carved bone beads are approximately 1 1/8" long and are carved BOTH front and back ( as you can see in one of the photos ). The vintage A grade brecciated jasper beads are 12mm ( approximately 1/2" ) and have a gorgeous polish since they were produced during the 1970's when the standards of gem cutting were so much higher in Asia than what is being produced nowadays in India.
I've added antiqued gold plated pewter beads with ornate textures to tie in with the antiqued brass french ear wires.

Total length of these earrings is approximately 2" and they will arrive in a little box all ready for gift giving.
