Vintage Japanese lucite beads that are a beautiful shade of apricot and white with gold glitter.

*****Please Note: These beads are NOT as yellow/orange or bright as they appear in these photographs! Any shade of yellow or orange or even coral/peach is most difficult to photograph and get the correct shade, no matter how many different types of lighting I use. They are definitely what I would call apricot !****

No two beads are alike as you can see from the photographs, in terms of the amount of both colors per bead or the amount of gold glitter.

What I loved about these beads when we found them back in the 1980s in London, was the sprinkling of gold glitter on each bead and how light as a feather they feel in your hand. I had never seen beads like this and purchased all that the shop owner had.

**I also purchased these same 8mm vintage Japanese beads in a beautiful shade of turquoise or robins egg blue and white - these are listed as RES-138.

I mixed these apricot and white beads with the white and chalcedony I have in my shop, and with West German gold glass spacer beads, for a design I did for the bridge jewelry department of Bloomingdales when I had a trunk show there in 1983.
