This size 6 ring, with Sterling Silver shank and stone setting, is constructed from a swatch of fold formed copper sheet. Some viewers have taken it to be leaf like, but I dont see it as such. The cross like ridges, and the texture left by vise and hammer, are more reminiscent of skin, rather than leaf.

I have test driven this piece for a day or so, on my little finger. The points have not presented any issues when putting on or taking off, as they sit a mm or two above the finger (that is, a properly sized - size 6 finger, no no poke guarantees if a size 8 or 9 finger is attempted!)

However, though the points are not sharp, they will definitely do damage to fine fabrics, childrens skin, and pockets, if care is not taken to control your tips.

So, if you can deal with the dangers, this is a striking OOAK finger adornment, that your neighbor will not have in her jewelry box. Ive already registered copyright on the design, as Ive been asked for variations in gold and sterling within a week of creation.

This is the prototype, the original, set with a very pretty mystic quartz round. I carved the setting out of a length of 8ga sterling silver bar. Im providing a lot of pics, just because I like it so much.
