Product Description
Hematite Pot Stone Necklace on Copper Chain and Connectors

I made this necklace with a hematite pot that I found on the shores of Lake Superior. It had been tumbled by the lake and I tumbled it again and added a piece of Jaspilite, Lake Superior Agate and a small piece of New Lander Turquoise for color balance. I hand made the hammered 18ga copper wire connectors and bail and oxidized them. The rest of the chain toward the back is 5mm antiqued copper plated rollo chain that has a copper plated lobster clasp at the ends. The necklace also has 2 drilled smaller basalt stones.

The necklace measures 18-1/4" long and has a 1-1/2" extender with stone at the end.

Hematite pots are concretions or nodules that are formed in sedimentary rocks. This one happens to have been caught up in the tumbling of the lake.
