Stunning handmade aqua powdered glass African Krobo beads and disks are the focus of this beautiful bracelet. The combination of the aqua beads and the sterling silver is elegant. A sterling silver filled clasp is the finishing touch.

Krobo beads are made by hand from recycled glass which has been ground up in a large mortar and pestle and then fired using traditional techniques in open-sided, thatch-roofed huts.

The Krobo beads used in this bracelet can be purchased at http://www.soulofsomanya.net. This awesome non-profit charity teaches young people of Samanya, Ghana, West Africa a trade.
