I have used soft and comfortable cotton flannel fabrics to make this blanket. All of my flannel baby blankets are oversized, at about 40" square, and they are double-layered 100% cotton flannel for extra softness.

I have sewn around the edges and have quilted the layers together for durability. This blanket has been machine stitched following the striped pattern.

These are great blankets to swaddle your baby and coax it to sleep! Family and friends love these blankets and tell me there's nothing like them at bedtime. I make my blankets as large as they are so your baby doesn't outgrow it its first month like those manufactured tiny receiving blankets.
