Farmers Market fruits and veggies table runner is both handmade and quilted.

This could be your "go to" table runner with no difficulty at all! It's a bit smaller than some, measuring 36" long and almost 14" wide. This would be a great size for any table that sits 2-4 people, and could even work on a table for 6.

I have strip quilted this runner using a number of brightly-colored and fresh-looking fruits and vegetable prints. In case you want to know, there are: oranges, lettuce, cherries, yellow peppers, carrots, green chilies, plums, grapefruit, raspberries and limes. They kind of wake up your taste buds, don't they?

This runner was made of 100% cotton quilting fabric. The batting used is Warm and Natural cotton batting, and the back is unbleached muslin.

I have freemotion quilted this runner in a leafy vine pattern. The binding is folded and double-layered, sewn to the front with mitered corners, and finished by hand on the back. I have made several of these runners and some have a binding of black fabric printed with tiny little red apples, while others have a black fabric with a tiny yellow and red berry print. The apples and berries tie in with the other produce prints, and the black color grounds the rest of the prints. One of the photos depicts my label that is sewn on the back of the table runner.
