This is our Mezzo size 3 prong wood hair fork made of Birdseye Maple wood adorned with a golden angel fairy.

The decorative top is about 2 3/4 inches(7cm) across.It's functional prong length is 5 inches (12.7 cm) and its overall length is 6.25 inches(16cm).
This hairfork is an Aline and its weight is 1.3 ounces. It would be recommended for very large updos, thick or coarse hair for best results.

This piece of BE maple wood has a very beautiful bunch of large eyes and some colored spalting in the grain.

This is well finished and sealed. The only maintenance required would be cleaning with a soft damp cloth if needed.

We make each of these by hand so we will gladly accommodate requests for shorter tines or to make the tines longer, we will gladly make a custom fork just for you! We use a pattern so that you know if you order another it will be very close to the same shape.

Stacy has been a master woodworker for over 25 years and has designed many unique pieces of furniture and sculpture. His attention to detail and skilled hands make these hair forks not only functional, fun and beautiful , but sturdy, well balanced and pieces of art!
Kim has a degree in studio art and the combination of her paintings, wood burnings and embellishments with Stacys designs and magic with wood make each of these hair forks heirloom quality and designed.

How to care for your wooden hair toys!
1. Do not store them in the sun ,that includes in the car or by a window. But wear them in the sun and be happy!
2. Do not drop them!
3. Do not use them as a screwdriver or paint can opener!
4.They are natural wood, they CAN break...put as little sideways pressure as possible on them. WE do take hair pressures into account and under normal hair updos they should be fine, including lots of hair!
5.Do not let the dog have it!;0)
6.Even though they are sealed and would weather rain ,do not swim or shower in them!
7.ENJOY!

If you drop or break your fork we will try to salvage it for a small fee or possibly give a discount on a new one if it is not salvageable. We understand that life, kids, pets, and accidents happen! (salvageable would be, for example, to turn a broken 3 tine fork into a 2 tine and a single stick. We do not feel that a glue-up would be an acceptable way to save a fork.)
