This hair stick is made from an antler tine and a piece of RARE and amazingly beautiful Silk Oak wood knot.


Our Makers mark is inlaid with malachite on the antler.
This piece of wood is from a post hurricane clean up..we had no idea of what we would find inside! when we opened it...WOW! it took our breath away! we have a VERY small amount of this precious grained wood and are using every piece to the best of our abilities!

The tine is only slightly tapered .This is a hair stick that you cannot break in your hair!

This hair stick has a functional length of 4.75 inches(12.2m)with a nice curve to it and is 5.75 inches(14.7cm) to the tip. This tine is on the thinner side.

The antler has striations of brown, grey and creme color and is Finished and sealed for smooth texture.

Bone and antler have been traditional adornments throughout time!
