This is Our Nefertari Hair Fork in Cedar Wood.

This hair fork has a working length of 4.25 inches(10.8cm), the overall length is about 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) . Across the tines it is about 1 3/4 inches(4.5cm). This holds all of my waist length hair up easily! the curve and shape of the fork give it great hold. Its weight is 1 ounce.

This fork has beautiful mauve coloring with gold streaks and a comet knot across the top, its a beauty, as it was said Nefertari was !

This hairfork will hold up many lengths of hair and work in very long hair as well. The shape of the Nefertari hugs the head well, holding securely and comfortably all day.

We sand our sticks and forks extensively.As WE have long hair also,we understand and do not want anything that would pull, catch or damage the hair in any way.

Stacy has been a master woodworker for over 25 years and has designed many unique pieces of furniture and sculpture. His attention to detail and skilled hands make these hair forks not only functional, fun and beautiful , but sturdy, well balanced and pieces of art!

Kim has a degree in studio art and the combination of her paintings, woodburnings and embellishments with Stacys designs and magic with wood make each of these hair forks heirloom quality and designed.

This fork should not need any maintenance, other than wiping with a soft cloth if anything gets on it.

We make each of these by hand so we will gladly accommodate requests for longer/shorter tines.We use a pattern so that you know if you order another it will be very close to the same shape. We also do custom embellishing , if you would like a different stone or something woodburned or carved.An additional fee may apply.

How to care for your wooden hair toys!
1. Do not store them in the sun ,that includes in the car or by a window. But wear them in the sun and be happy!
2. Do not drop them!
3. Do not use them as a screwdriver or paint can opener!
4.They are natural wood, they CAN break...put as little sideways pressure as possible on them. WE do take hair pressures into account and under normal hair updos they should be fine, including lots of hair!
5.Do not let the dog have it!;0)
6.Even though they are sealed and would weather rain ,do not swim or shower in them!
7.ENJOY!

If you drop or break your hair art we will try to salvage it for a small fee or possibly give a discount on a new one if it is not salvageable. We understand that life, kids, pets, and accidents happen! (salvageable would be, for example, to turn a broken 3 tine fork into a 2 tine and a single stick. We do not feel that a glue-up would be an acceptable way to save a fork.)
