Our wood and antler hair forks and sticks are amazingly comfortable and strong for Men and Womens hair, and will hold your hair up well while looking stunning. Hair forks help keep very long hair out of harms way to reduce breakage and damage, and they also give great hold to very thick or long hair and reduce scalp stress. These things all help facilitate better and healthier hair growth!

This is our 3 tine Lilli size wood Threnody hair fork made of Fiddleback Eucalyptus wood.The decorative top is 2 3/8 inches(6 cm) across.

This piece of wood is very figured, in both its curl and its grain! it looks like long wavy hair in the grain pattern! stunningly beautiful flash,and medium in density. WE have filled a natural dark area with a brass inlay on one tine and on the back of the topper.

It's functional prong length is 4 5/8 inches(11.8m) and its overall length is about 5.5 inches(14.2 cm). This fork is very comfortable for most size buns and would work well for most hair types...probably suited more toward larger updo, thicker hair. it weighs .9 ounces.

This is well finished and sealed . The only maintenance required would be cleaning with a soft damp cloth if needed.

We make each of these by hand so we will gladly accommodate requests for longer/shorter tines.We use a pattern so that you know if you order another it will be very close to the same shape. We also do custom embellishing , if you would like a different stone or something carved.An additional fee may apply.

Stacy has been a master woodworker for over 25 years and has designed many unique pieces of furniture and sculpture. His attention to detail and skilled hands make these hair forks not only functional, fun and beautiful , but sturdy, well balanced and pieces of art!
Kim has a degree in studio art and the combination of her paintings, wood burnings and embellishments with Stacy's designs and magic with wood make each of these hair forks heirloom quality and designed.

We try to use rescued wood as often as possible, all types may not always be available.

How to care for your wooden hair toys!
1. Do not store them in the sun ,that includes in the car or by a window. But wear them in the sun and be happy!
2. Do not drop them!
3. Do not use them as a screwdriver or paint can opener!
4.They are natural wood, they CAN break...put as little sideways pressure as possible on them. WE do take hair pressures into account and under normal hair updos they should be fine, including lots of hair!
5.Do not let the dog have it!;0)
6.Even though they are sealed and would weather rain or damp hair(almost dry) ,do not swim or shower in them!
7.ENJOY!

If you drop or break Your hair art, we will try to salvage it for a small fee or possibly give a discount on a new one (at our discretion) if it is not salvageable. We understand that life, kids, pets, and accidents happen! (salvageable would be, for example, to turn a broken 3 tine fork into a 2 tine and a single stick. We do not feel that a glue-up would be an acceptable way to save a fork.)
