These cheese spreaders are made from pieces of American Hardwoods left over from my larger projects. They are made from carefully selected Cherry and are very durable.

This great little Set of 4 Cheese Spreaders can be a beautiful addition to your buffet table. Perfect for soft cheeses, butter, jelly or other spreads. The 7 1/2 inch length is just the right size, not too tiny and not too long.

Each spreader is entirely made by hand and therefore there may be slight differences with each piece. Each piece is cut by hand on the band saw, shaped with a sander and then hand sanded through several grits and polished to a silky smooth feel then finished with my blend of beeswax/mineral oil I call Board Balm.

I've been designing and building furniture in my Wood shop for over 20 years, and I just hate tossing out or burning for heat all the short pieces of great wood that are left over. Many of the items in my ArtFire shop started out as an outlet for some of those leftovers. These Cheese Spreaders are just about the last salable thing I can squeeze out of the tree. Well, at least for now. I do have several buckets of tinny tiny little scraps sitting in the shop. Anybody need 100 lbs of small cherry or oak chunks for their wood smoker?
