Mid Century Modern crystal candy dish or apothecary jar with a silver band rim designed by Dorothy Thorpe. This footed crystal jar is a desirable piece by the infamous 1950's designer Dorothy Thorpe and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The silver band around the top of the jar is mostly intact shwoing some very light even thin lines of loss to the silver. The knob on the lid has lost most of the silver.

This is a desrable and harder to find piece of vintage Dorothy Thorpe crystal that would look lovely in a Mid Century Modern or Shabby Chic kitchen with loose teas, or a bathroom with cotton balls or bath salts, and of course filled with candy. 9"H X about 6"W.
