July 27, 2011-
When I walked past this field and looked out across the valley, I knew I had to get out and paint. The rain had made the colors so vibrant, and the bales stood out sharply against the backdrop of hazy blue hills. The sky promised more rain, and I sat in the field with my umbrella in one hand and paintbrush in the other.
