Swirls of brown and copper on Lisa Niven Kelly's lampwork bead bring up memories of Autumn winds and colorful leaves. I've created a fine silver acorn cap from a California Live Oak and capped a faceted Smoky Brown Quartz bead.

Lisa hasn't made lampwork beads in some time and this is the last focal I have of hers. I always loved her work and hope she changes her mind some day. The peplum or swirling glass on the edges of Lisa's bead brings some femininity to this urban natural necklace.

Greek Leather cord in a dark brown complements this piece perfectly I think.

Sterling Silver wire and end caps used throughout. Vermeil (Gold plated over sterling silver) discs pick up on the golden copper tones in the lampwork bead.

I've wrought a handmade clasp from Sterling Silver wire and added some lightweight chain to make it adjustable from 17 to 20 inches.

I think you'll love this nature inspired necklace for years to come. It will certainly last them.
