A gorgeous Ocean Jasper heart pendant, perfect for your Valentine, is a little over an inch long hangs from seashell pink freshwater Pearls. Handtied on silk with a SS chain and heart shaped lobster clasp for an adjustable 16-19 inch necklace.

Ocean Jasper is produced from only one mine near Marovato. The deposit, being located at the edge of the ocean, can only be seen and collected from at low tide. This remote area has no roads so the material must be transported to civilization by boat.

Pink seashells mix with sand at the waters edge... This particular ocean jasper heart looked to me like a piece of driftwood imbedded with a beautiful soft pink shell. Nature's hand is truly artistic and beautiful.
