Lapis Lazuli Namibian Blue Chalcedony Iolite Pyrite bracelet

This Item Has Been Sold

Product Description
Captivating sky-blue chalcedony dances with denim-blue lapis lazuli, shimmering deep blue iolite and black-metallic pyrite drops amid glistening gold chains in this incredibly enchanting tapestry of gemstones.

I have designed the bracelet to be fuller, comprising substantial hearts of sky-blue chalcedony and petite lapis kites (with glittering pyrite flecks), and clustered with shimmers of deep blue water-sapphire (iolite) and diamond-like pyrite (also known as fool's gold). Each gemstone is meticulously wired by hand, using 24K gold vermeil ball pins, onto the links of a 14K goldfill chain. Layered goldfilled chains add to the glittering glee.

Fun fact about lapis lazuli:
In the fourteenth century, lapis lazuli stones were ground up and mixed with oils to create the highly prized and very expensive ultramarine used by artists (such as da Vinci) in paintings (such as those in the Sistine Chapel). Ultramarine was known as "blue gold" because it was more expensive than gold at times.

Bracelet measures about 7.5 inches (19 cm) and can be adjusted upon request.
