Product Description
An original etched art glass design capturing symbolic references and inspirations. The symbol of three branching trinity fish is complimented with other decorative design elements around it's center including a philosophical sense of one's own nature and general inspiration.

The glass itself is etched on a 4" x 4" x 3/16" thick clear beverage coaster, which is sandblasted on both sides of the glass to give another 3d effect to the overall artistry of the piece. The backside has four 3m Bumpon furniture protective feet that may be removed if desired if you would want it strictly as a display piece.

It is a functional art glass as a drinking coaster, but please keep in mind that even though it is sturdy the material is glass and there is always the possibility of breakage and scratching without proper care.

My etched glass art can be a great gift idea for Christmas or other religious holidays, weddings embracing the ideas of unity, birthdays, or for home or office inspirational accents to your artisitc environment or simply for your own treasured collection. This particular design image promotes a unity of others and self encouragement through the symbolisms used.

I don't like to interpret for others what art takes on as meaning, but the main aspects that are involved are as follows:

The Trinity is an age old symbol of uniting in both a religious and philosophical sense of attunement. In this design I've been inspired by artwork that combines one element as a source and expanding that element in an optical illusion to relay a message of unity.

The inner design of the etching is of three fish in an equal distance around the center. They converge using one head and are showing the bare bones within the body. The outer etchings are decorative to compliment the overall imagery.

Now the 3 Latin inscriptions read first with e pluribus unum which is a familiar writing to those in the US because it is seen on all our currency and it means "out of many, one". Carpe diem is likely a well known phrase which translates as "seize the day". The last Latin phrase esto quod es is a motto to some which means "be what you are".

There are other peaceful and artistic impressions that I hope will be intrepreted by the viewer their own way in a mandala-like meditation even at a minimal size.
