This chunky handcrafted polymer clay and silver necklace is a great example of what can be done with this versatile medium.

I made these streaked grey and sage green polymer clay beads in my studio. By adding the silver plated tube beads and a simple but classy silver plated box clasp, it has all the cool casual looks you will need for spring and summer. Plus it is lightweight!

The necklace is 24 1/2 inches (62.2 cm) long and closes with a silver plated box clasp.

After curing the polymer clay beads they are hand sanded with wet dry sandpaper - 2000 grit to make them smooth and silky. I then buff each bead for a soft glow. Each bead is unique and beautiful.
