This lovely piece of wearable art is a pendant made with metallic polymer clay in a stunning swirl design. The butterfly is a welcome touch of copper.

The colors here are greys, mauves, reds, copper and silver - enhanced with a beautiful copper butterfly link.

I have included a 22 1/2 inch (57.3 cm) copper chain. This can easily be changed to suit.

This art piece is 1 1/8 inches (28 mm) across.

I make all my polymer clay pieces in my studio. After curing each piece is carefully sanded many times with up to 2000 grit sandpaper. The piece is then buffed for a smooth and glowing look.

A bit about me:

I am an avid jewelry designer and I use my art background as a base to my creations. I am always trying different materials. I enjoy making my own designs - especially the challenge of creating a piece of jewelry that is unique.
