A stunning Geode showing an amethyst in an upright position. This geode is wrapped in silver foil. The striations and veining is awesome and the amethyst is beautiful. Definitely a statement piece of Jewelry!

The matching earrings are made of amethyst chips and blend very well with the amethyst of the geode.
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
When I bought this stone, I didn't know what I was going to do with it. I did know, however, that the piece of jewelry would have to be dainty so that all of the attentioin would be on the geodge slice.
Materials Used
The beading wire is one of the strongest made, even though it looks fragile, it isn't.
More Info
The Geode slice is 2 1/2 inches long. The smaller amethysts on the beading wire average about 5 to 12 mm. In contrast, the amethyst in the geode is 13 mm long.

The actual necklace is 24 inches long and closes with silver toggle clasp. The earrings are 1 1/2 inches long from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the bottom amethyst.
