Vintage poision brooch or pendant. Intriguing brooch with a "secret" compartment. Sterling silver, green Onyx. The piece is in fine vintage condition. It is marked and I can read Mexico, 0925 and the letters JOC but not the rest. This style hasn't been used for poision for centuries and may never have been. Religious relics, locks of a loved ones hair are more likely. Now it could hold the photo of a special person or perfume on a cotton ball or what ever your imagination dictates. I think its current patina is just right, but if you want it polished, I will be glad to do that for you. Just let me know.
