Hand Painted Shawl Wrap with light earth tones like linen, nude, muted sandstone, beige, light honey, taupe, dark grays, ivory, different tones of browns. It is one of a kind and is a signed silk chiffon shawl

It is painted on 100% pure silk, high quality chiffon 10mm which make the delicate earth tones and muted natural colors flow into each other and cascade in subtle shades of neutral tones. The dyes leave the silk flexible (not stiff) flowing and very soft to the touch.

This large shawl/wrap can be worn as an evening outer garment, a cocktail party or for indoor chic. It can be styled in many different ways: as a wrap, a sarong or a skirt around the waist or hips.

The shawl is hand-hemmed (hand-rolled). It is 22" X 76"

This wrap is hand painted with multiple layers of dyes. I allow a different drying time after each layer according to the pigment I use, the humidity in the environmental air at the time of painting the said layer. Please note that I do not have a hygrometer, and I do that intuitively. Results depend on the time of day and Season of the year, and the climate where I live. This is a unique technique I have developed over the years.
