This is a new custom-spun yarn that is terrific. The blend is 80% SW Merino, 10% Cashmere and 10% Nylon. The extra twist adds bounce to this yarn that is delightful, coupled with the cashmere. It has 3 plies, so the strands are plump and rounded, and it has the same smooth, dense feel of my MCN 355, but the twist is a lot tighter (almost twice as many twists per inch), and the strands are about a third smaller in diameter than the 355. There are approximately 390-400 yards in each skein. I included photos under different lighting conditions. This would be lovely for a fine gauge sweater, or socks, of course.

For best results, wash cold.
Line dry.
